2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

• Name, email address, company name, and USDOT or MC number when you sign up or contact us
• Bank account information for ACH billing
• CDL photos and live selfies submitted by drivers through Stripe Identity for identity verification
• Background check information processed through Checkr
• Documents uploaded during carrier onboarding — Certificate of Insurance, W-9, MC authority
• Electronic signatures on carrier agreements and FCRA authorizations
• Usage data including login activity, document uploads, and portal access events

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the carrier onboarding platform
• To verify carrier and driver identity
• To process background checks and MVR reports in compliance with FCRA
• To send onboarding invitations, notifications, and account communications
• To process monthly ACH billing
• To maintain compliance records and audit trails
• To improve the platform

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policy:

• Stripe Identity — driver identity verification (CDL photo and selfie)
• Checkr — MVR and background checks
• Cloudflare — infrastructure, data storage (D1 and R2), and network security
• FMCSA — public carrier data lookups via the federal database
• MailChannels — transactional email delivery

5. FCRA Compliance

Background checks and MVR reports are obtained only after receiving written FCRA authorization from the driver. Authorization is collected electronically during the driver onboarding process. Brokers using our platform are responsible for providing required adverse action notices to drivers when required by law.

6. Data Retention

Carrier and driver records are retained for the duration of your account and for a period following account termination as required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at support@getpurplesquirrel.com.

7. Security

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Carrier portals are protected by PIN authentication. Driver authorization links are one-time use and lock permanently after completion. We use Cloudflare infrastructure for all data storage and transmission.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@getpurplesquirrel.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active account holders of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
